Susan and Bob – Falkirk Cultural Center, San Rafael, CA Wedding Photography

We first met Susan and Bob for their engagement session and had such a great time with them that we were really excited about shooting their wedding at Falkirk Cultural Center in San Rafael, CA.

Falkirk mansion and the surrounding gardens provides a gorgeous setting for a wedding and it was wonderful shooting there for the first time.

Behind the mansion there is a private wedding garden where the ceremony was held.

After the wedding we took a few minutes to shoot group formals of the bridal party and extended family, and then we were able to spend some time alone with the newly married couple to get some gorgeous shots of them together.

As the cocktail hour was winding down it was time to let these two get back to their party! Dinner was a fantastic southern buffet by Delicious Catering.

They had beautiful flowers and sweet little details to personalize the day.

Susan’s mother made the cake – definitely one of the most beautiful wedding cakes I have seen. It’s hard to believe that she does not do them professionally.

The evening ended out on the dance floor. Many thanks to Susan and Bob for having us document their day, their fabulous wedding coordinator Joanna from Stacey & Company and the staff at the Falkirk Cultural Center for making it an amazing day!
